The game takes the player on a journey of action and adventure in which their cat companion travels and fights battles by their side. During the player's journey, they develop an emotional connection with their furry friend, but experiences its sad death along the way. They journey on, and through a series of events, the player eventually accepts their loss, gaining closure.
