Pirate Mage Character

My original Pirate Mage character named Alister Guard, drawn in my different art styles.

Character Backstory:
Born as the heiress to a rich noble family of mages, her given name was Alisanne Gardimour Quicedo Verninne. She had all the resources and status that came from wealth. The best education money can buy - in magic, swordsmanship, as well as math, science, music, art and other extracurricular activities. She especially enjoyed they study of magic, and she was the top of her class in it, the best the town. She and her family also attended the parties and events exclusive to high society, dressed in the highest fashion, and she was trained to be as ladylike as possible.
However, she despised the life of aristocracy and high society, the responsibilities as an heiress and the superficiality of the people of the circles she was part of. She instead pined for the pirate life - reading and hearing stories and dreaming about the adventure, travel, treasure, all of it.
The final straw was an arranged marriage to which she never agreed, when she turned 20 years old. Her family had desired more status and wealth, which the other family had more of and her family would acquire it as part of the arrangement. But the marriage required a ritual of dark magic which would trade away her magic powers to the other family in exchange.
So she escaped from home and left for her long-desired pirate life. All the while, she avoids the constant threat of her family's hired armies to bring her back. She changed her name to Alister Guard, derived from her original name, as well as cut her hair to hide more easily and further dispose of her past. Currently she travels the land, sea, air and anywhere else that suits her fancy, looting from the rich and giving to people in need when she feels like it. When she runs into trouble with other pirates and enemies, she uses her expertise in magic as well as learned stealth to her advantage.
